1. Acceptance of Terms

By using GameScrobbler, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use GS. Please also review our Privacy Policy.

2. Use of the Service

• You must be at least 13 years old to use GS.
• You are responsible for any activity under your account.
• You may not use GS for illegal or unauthorized purposes.

3. User Content

• You retain ownership of your data.
• GS may analyze, aggregate, and derive insights from anonymized data for service improvement, research, and commercial analytics.
• You grant GS a non-exclusive license to display necessary data for your user experience, and to use aggregate, anonymous statistics derived from your gaming activity in research, reports, and commercial offerings, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

4. Prohibited Activities

• Attempting to access other users' accounts or data without authorization
• Scraping, data mining, or automated collection of data from GameScrobbler
• Distributing malware, spam, or harmful content through the platform
• Harassment, abuse, or threatening behavior toward other users
• Using the service for any illegal purpose

5. Service Availability

GameScrobbler is provided on a best-effort basis using managed cloud infrastructure. We may change, suspend, or interrupt parts of the service without notice.

6. Limitation of Liability

GS is not responsible for any data loss, errors, or service interruptions.

7. Intellectual Property

GameScrobbler, its logo, and associated branding are the intellectual property of GameScrobbler. You retain full ownership of your gaming data.

By using the service, you grant GameScrobbler a non-exclusive license to (a) process your data to provide the service, and (b) use aggregate, anonymous insights derived from your data for research, analytics, reports, and commercial offerings, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

GameScrobbler retains all rights in derivative aggregate datasets and statistical outputs that do not identify any individual user.

8. Warranty Disclaimer

GameScrobbler is provided on an 'as-is' and 'as-available' basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these terms.

10. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these terms will be resolved through good-faith negotiation before pursuing formal proceedings.

11. Dispute Resolution

If you have a dispute with GameScrobbler, please contact us first at support@gamescrobbler.com. We will attempt to resolve the issue informally. If we cannot resolve the dispute within 30 days, either party may pursue formal resolution.

12. Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

For non-material updates, we will revise the "Last Updated" date and post the new Terms on this page. You are responsible for reviewing these Terms periodically.

For material changes — such as changes affecting your rights, your obligations, or how your data may be used — we will notify you via email or in-product notice before the change takes effect, and where required by law we will request fresh consent.

Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

GameScrobbler provides these Terms in multiple languages for accessibility. The English version is the controlling and legally binding version. Translations are provided for your convenience and to comply with local transparency requirements. In case of any conflict, ambiguity, or inconsistency between the English version and any translated version, the English version governs.
