Playnite playtime tracker
GameScrobbler is a free Playnite add-on that sends your library playtime and game sessions to an online hub. See when you played and how long each recorded session lasted, then add Steam or Xbox accounts to bring more of your gaming history together.
Free and open source (GPL-3.0). The button opens Playnite on Windows. You can also find GameScrobbler in its add-on browser.
A playtime total tells you how many hours you spent in a game. Session history helps you remember when you returned to it and whether you played for twenty minutes or a whole evening. The add-on sends start and finish events for supported games launched through Playnite. Failed sends are queued for retry when the connection returns.
Supported libraries include Steam, GOG, Epic Games, Xbox, PlayStation, Battle.net, Ubisoft Connect, itch.io, Humble and Amazon Games. Games added manually without a library add-on are excluded. Starting a game outside Playnite does not create a Playnite session, although library totals can still update from the connected source.
Browse recorded sessions with their start time and duration in the hub. Old lifetime totals do not reconstruct sessions from before installation.
Sync playtime, play count, last played date, installation state, completion status, favorites and user score for supported games.
Use the button with Playnite installed on Windows, or search for GameScrobbler under Add-ons, Browse.
Launch a supported game from Playnite. Library sync runs at startup and after library updates; processing can take time.
Use the GameScrobbler sidebar item. Link the add-on to an account to open the same hub in a browser.
No. You can use the add-on before linking a web account. Linking lets you access the hub elsewhere and combine connected account data.
Yes. Session tracking and achievement sync have separate settings. The add-on also provides Delete My Data.
The hosted hub needs internet access. Queued session events are retried later; this does not guarantee recovery of every interrupted session.
Install the add-on and check the hub after your next successful sync.
Free and open source (GPL-3.0). The button opens Playnite on Windows. You can also find GameScrobbler in its add-on browser.
