Steam, Xbox and PC launchers each keep their own playtime counters. GameScrobbler brings the data from connected Steam and Xbox accounts together with supported Playnite libraries, so you can explore hours per game and source without checking every launcher.

Connect Steam and Xbox on the website. For GOG, Epic Games, Battle.net, Ubisoft Connect, itch.io, Humble, Amazon Games and PlayStation libraries, use the Playnite add-on. It syncs the totals Playnite knows about and records sessions for supported games you launch through Playnite. These connections can be used together.
Lifetime playtime and session history answer different questions. A provider may supply a total without exact start and end times. Steam session estimates, where shown, are labeled as estimates; Playnite can supply recorded sessions. A calendar with limited session coverage is not a complete breakdown of all lifetime hours.
Matched games appear together in the Library with playtime by platform. Steam playtime also imported through Playnite is not simply added twice to the Library total.
View platform distribution and session charts. Select a source and use the available time windows to focus the view.
Create your free account using Steam, Xbox or Discord.
Add Steam and Xbox in the Control Panel. Install and link the Playnite add-on for the supported libraries it reads.
After data has synced and been processed, open Library and Stats. Use connection status in the Control Panel if a source is missing.
Your Steam profile and game details must be public for the library and playtime to be read. Hidden playtime can limit the data available.
Playtime depends on what each title reports. Missing playtime is not evidence that you never played the game.
Connected accounts can still report updated totals. The Playnite add-on only creates session events for launches it sees in Playnite.
