Story

Unravel is a gentle, atmospheric puzzle-platformer that tells its story almost entirely without words. It begins in the quiet home of an elderly woman, who gazes wistfully at old photographs before a small ball of red yarn tumbles loose. From that yarn springs Yarny, an apple-sized creature made entirely of thread, who awakens and gazes in wonder at the enormous world around him. Guided by the photographs displayed throughout the house, Yarny steps into the memories they hold, journeying through vivid landscapes that were once meaningful to the family who lived there.
