A child known only as the New Kid has just moved to the small mountain town of South Park, Colorado. Venturing outside for the first time, the New Kid is immediately drawn into an elaborate live-action fantasy war between the neighborhood children, who have split into rival factions of humans and elves battling for control of a relic they call the Stick of Truth. Led by the scheming wizard king Cartman on one side and the elven king Kyle on the other, the conflict escalates well beyond a simple children's game as genuine dangers emerge and threaten the entire town.
