Nightmare Arts is a top down arcade inspired roguelike where you must explore a dangerous afterlife equipped with nothing but magical paint.
You are a "Lost Soul", a person trapped between the different stages of the afterlife. The connection between your mind and soul has been severed, leaving you unable to recall any information about your mortal life. The only thing keeping your soul from completely dissipating is a unbreakable bond between you and your art. This bond manifests as a powerful magic allowing you to conjure ethereal brush strokes. Wielding this magic, you must traverse through the afterlife fighting monsters and collecting your lost memories.
