A Multi-User Dungeon, or MUD, is a text-based online multiplayer game where players navigate virtual worlds, interact with each other, and engage in various activities using textual commands. In the realm of Iberia, players are transported back to a pivotal period in history, set against the backdrop of the Roman conquest of the Iberian Peninsula.
After the end of the Punic Wars in the third century BC, Rome focused all its strength on conquering the Iberian Peninsula. Initially, the invasion was successful and Rome conquered most of the peninsula with relative ease. Led by Consul Servius Sulpicius Galba, Roman troops proceeded to eliminate the last remnants of the Lusitan resistance. Fearing the destruction of their lands, the Lusitans sent an emissary to Consul Galba requesting an armistice.
